Tony Pola CA B.Bus – Principal

Tony was raised and educated in Warrnambool. After graduating from Warrnambool Institute of Advanced Education (now Deakin University), he spent five years working with the Australian Taxation Office in Melbourne and Warrnambool (when they had an office) before transferring to Public Practice. After nearly ten years as an employee, Tony established his accountancy business.

Outside of work, he enjoys his garden. Tony is Secretary of his beloved Dennington Football Netball Club. A proud life member of the Dogs, he is also a Collingwood supporter – but don’t hold that against him. He finds himself three times a week waist-deep wading in the Warrnambool beach's cool waters; it's “therapeutic” (and good for dicky knees).

When he escapes, it is usually to catch up with his daughters (twins), one in Melbourne and the other just north of Brisbane.

Kevin Ashworth B.Comm, FP

Kevin grew up on dairy farms in Nirranda South and Rosebrook. After a career in the Department of Defence, serving in the Army Medical Corp for 6 years in Brisbane, and 15 years in Retail Management, he returned to dairy farming in 1992 where he developed a low cost feeding system using home grown fodder to make a complete diet for his cattle. This system is now implemented by an international feed wagon company.

In 2007, an opportunity arose for him to be able to complete his childhood dream of becoming an accountant, first completing a Diploma of Accounting through Southwest Institute of TAFE then gaining his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Financial Planning) through Deakin University, Warrnambool.

Kevin has been with Pola & Co since 2010 and is a Xero Certified Advisor. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening and renovating his home. He is an active member of the Warrnambool Racing Pigeon Club.
